Cancer is disease that has affected many individuals all across the globe.

Whether it is you personally, or a friend, colleague or family member, we’ve all been exposed in some way shape for form. Due to lack of awareness and resources, the majority cancer cases within the African community are often in the late stages when they are initially diagnosed.  Please join us in our commitment to not let this disease continue to permeate in our community.

• $1,000 provides diagnostic breast care for two uninsured women.
• $500 provides patient transportation for one month to three women too sick to drive because of chemotherapy
• $200 provides a clinical breast exam and mammogram to one patient without insurance who goes to the clinic with an AWCAA volunteer.
• $100 provides a mammogram to one patient without insurance who has been silent for more than a year
• $40 provides gowns for 10 women who are afraid to seek medical attention because they are ashamed they have breast cancer.
